Terms of Service for Cyklze

Welcome to Cyklze, a scrap pickup service. By accessing and using the Cyklze platform (the "Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Agreement"). Please read these terms carefully before using the Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Cyklze services.

1. Eligibility of Use

By accessing and using the Cyklze platform, you agree to the following eligibility criteria:

Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use the Cyklze services. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use the platform with the explicit consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Legal Capacity: You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the applicable laws. By using the Cyklze services, you confirm that you are competent to enter into a contract and that you are not disqualified from receiving services under any law.
Scrap Ownership: You confirm that you are the rightful owner of the scrap you are booking for pickup, or you have the necessary consent from the owner to dispose of the scrap.
Prohibited Use: You agree not to use the Cyklze platform for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the platform’s functionality, or interfere with other users' access to the platform.
Suspension or Removal: Cyklze reserves the right to suspend or remove access to the platform for any user who violates these eligibility requirements or engages in any fraudulent activity, including providing false information or misrepresenting ownership.

By using the Cyklze platform, you confirm that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements. If you do not meet these requirements, you are not authorized to use the services provided by Cyklze.

2. User Account and Security

Account Creation and Information Collection:

To use the Cyklze app, you will need to create an account. During the registration process, you will be required to provide your phone number for authentication purposes. This will allow us to verify your identity and enable you to securely access the app. You will also need to provide your address for scheduling the pickup service.

Accuracy and Responsibility for Account Information:

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide during the registration and service booking process is accurate, complete, and up-to-date. If any of the information you provide changes, you are required to update it promptly in the app. If the information you have provided is found to be inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent, Cyklze reserves the right to suspend or cancel your account and deny you access to the service.

Confidentiality of Account Credentials:

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your phone number and login details. Do not share One Time Password (OTP).

Unauthorized Access and Security Breaches:

If you suspect any unauthorized access to your account, or if you believe your account has been compromised, you should immediately notify Cyklze. We will take appropriate steps to secure your account and address any potential security concerns.

User Responsibilities:

By using the Cyklze app, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information at all stages of using the service. Providing false, incomplete, or misleading information may result in the suspension of your account and refusal of service.

3. Payment-Related Information

Payment Method:

Cyklze provides a scrap pickup service where users can book a pickup for their scrap and receive payment for the collected scrap. The amount paid will be determined based on the weight and type of scrap, as well as the price per kilogram, which is visible in the application and locked at the time of booking. Payments will be made in cash at the time of pickup.

Booking a Pickup:

When you book a scrap pickup through the Cyklze platform, you will be required to:

Login securely using your mobile number
View the price per kilogram (locked at the time of booking)
Select the pickup type (e.g., Mass, Supermarket, General, ASAP)
Enter the estimated weight of the scrap
Select recyclable types (e.g., metal, plastic, paper)
Pick a date and time for the pickup
Enter the pickup address where the scrap is located

Payment Calculation:

Once you confirm your pickup details, Cyklze will arrive on the scheduled date to collect your scrap. The scrap will be weighed on-site, and the amount payable will be based on the actual weight and the locked price per kilogram from the day of booking.The final payment is completed on-site at the time of pickup, either in cash or through approved external third-party payment methods (such as UPI, Paytm, or Google Pay), based on availability and the user’s preference.

Changes to Payment Terms:

Cyklze reserves the right to update or modify its payment terms at any time. Any changes will be reflected in the updated Terms of Service, and users will be notified accordingly. We encourage you to review the Terms of Service periodically to stay informed about any updates.

4. Price of Recyclables

Price Per Kilogram:

The price for each type of recyclable material is displayed in the Cyklze app. The prices are calculated per kilogram and will vary depending on the material. Prices are locked at the time of booking and will not change between booking and pickup.

Types of Recyclable Materials:

Examples of recyclable materials accepted by Cyklze include:

Metal (e.g., aluminum, steel, copper)
Plastic (e.g., bottles, PVC, containers)
Paper (e.g., books, newspaper)
Glass (e.g., bottles)
Electronics (e.g., old phones, wires, electronic scrap)

Pricing Transparency:

Prices are transparent and based on current market conditions. Cyklze strives to provide accurate pricing but prices are subject to change based on market fluctuations.

Weight and Payment Calculation:

The final payment will be calculated by multiplying the weight of each recyclable item by its respective locked price per kilogram, and then summing the total across all materials.

5. Returns, Cancellations, and Payment Terms

Returns of Materials:

Once the payment is made and the scrap has been collected, the transaction is considered final. If you wish to reclaim any materials, you may request assistance via the Help page within 24 hours. While we will make every reasonable effort to locate and return the items, recovery is not guaranteed.

Cancellation of Order:

You may cancel your pickup order at any time before the pickup or payment is made. Cancellation can be done through the app with no charges.

6. Limitation of Liability

Cyklze is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use of the platform or services. Users agree to use the services at their own risk.

7. General Terms

Changes to Terms:

Cyklze reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be communicated to users. We encourage you to review the Terms of Service periodically to stay informed about any updates.
